Problems with Animed direct

A question about : Problems with Animed direct

As per the title,
Has anyone had any problems with Animed Direct?
I have been trying for a few days now to order Stronghold for my dog. The web page will not let me say which pet it for, I have also uploaded a scrip for this product but the page keep saying it cannot find it. I have also tried to get through on the phone and keep getting no answer, realise they may be busy on the phone if the web page is playing up.

Pet Supermarket won't honour free delivery code

A question about : Pet Supermarket won't honour free delivery code

I was trying to make an order on Sunday and on the top of the website it said free delivery on orders over Ј9.90. However when I got to checkout the code wouldn't work even though my order was substantially more and incidentally was as light as a feather (well almost). Chat wasn't on as it was the weekend so I went on chat today but they just don't want to know and kept repeating the code is no longer valid. Not good customer care and I will be taking my custom elsewhere on principal.

Any advice for dog chew your CABLES?

A question about : Any advice for dog chew your CABLES?

I have a dog and she likes to chew cables... I've tried many ways to prevent him from touching cables but most of it do not really seems to work, she bites my cellphone cable, laptop charger and now she destroyed my old PS controllers (two in a row).

Am I Being Unreasonable?

A question about : Am I Being Unreasonable?

Before I start I'd like to say whilst not a dog lover I do not dislike dogs. I watch tv programmes about dog rescues, and I watched the programme about the puppies last week. I watch You Tube programmes about funny animals. I often come on here to look at the photos and read the stories.

Warning! Sheep poo!

A question about : Warning! Sheep poo!

I was told of a young yesterday who was unwell and in he vets for several days. Being treated for gastro. No improvement , so they finally operated for a suspect foreign body.
It turned out to be a lump of Sheps faeces. I would have thought, nasty though it is, that a dog could have digested that Ok.
Apparently because the sheep has already digested it, it is just a hard fibrous lump of cellulose and can be dangerous if you are unlucky.
Glad to say the young dog is now recovering, but it was touch and go for a while.

A question about : Wet food

Hi all,
The 11 yr old collie has really gone off food
He has had an op for cancer but we know it's on going
He's fine, still going for good walks, playing with spaniel etc but he's not bothered with food
Tried all sorts of Kibble, lilys,Wainright, simpsons etc
He's always been a good eater
So tinned sardines he loves and he will eat wainrights trays, most of the time
So my questions are, how many tins of sardines can he have a week,I get them from supermarket

Lab with Sensitive Stomach

A question about : Lab with Sensitive Stomach

We took over the care of a 6 year old Lab from a family member about a year ago.

Although he was in fairly good health, it become obvious that he had been feed on a diet of left over human food and that he had some sort of stomach condition (ibs/colitis maybe?).
His droppings were very sloppy and his stomach bloated and making all sorts of noises.

We put him on Burns Chicken & Rice, which is a basic food, and supplemented it with some probiotic.
