A question about : Any fish tank recommendations?

i am looking at getting a small fish tank for coldwater/temperate fish. Don't want anything big and high maintenance.

I was looking at the biOrb Flow 15 but it has some dodgy reviews where the filter is concerned.

can anyone recommend something similar?

A question about : Standard or lifetime insurance

I've always gone for the basic insurance, but now that my dog has reached the grand old age of 8, the policies seem to have shot up with a substantial excess. Which is all fair enough as more can go wrong with an older dog.

With lifetime insurance, does this mean she will be covered for life (I.e. Until she dies) or does it mean something else and I'll still be trying to shop around next year for another policy when she's even older?

Any recommendations on what I should do?

A question about : advice on getting ducks please

Ok so we're after some ducks. Have read quite a bit but have a few questions.
The chicken house we're getting holds between 4-6 ducks. we're after 4 ducks. Is it good to have at least 1 male in the pack? We have read that you have to have a high ratio of female ducks to male ducks. The best breeds we have read to go for for first time owners are, runner ducks, Campbell Duck and aylesbury can anyone suggest any others.

A question about : Frontline Vs Flevox

Thought I'd lose my dog today after changing her regular flea treatment from Frontline to Flevox.

Bathed and dosed her on Friday afternoon and she went steadily downhill from then till the really low point this lunchtime.

I always thought that Frontline and Flevox were the same thing. 67mg's for her weight of Fipronil in a mostly alcohol solution.

She never reacted to Frontline, other than being a bit mardy to it being applied, so after reading up on Flevox I thought I'd give it a go as it's much cheaper.

In a bid to calm down the stupid spaniel we've been told to try hypoallergenic dog food.
What is the cheapest / best way of buying this please as we have 2 of them to feed
