A question about : Warning! Sheep poo!
I was told of a young yesterday who was unwell and in he vets for several days. Being treated for gastro. No improvement , so they finally operated for a suspect foreign body.
It turned out to be a lump of Sheps faeces. I would have thought, nasty though it is, that a dog could have digested that Ok.
Apparently because the sheep has already digested it, it is just a hard fibrous lump of cellulose and can be dangerous if you are unlucky.
Glad to say the young dog is now recovering, but it was touch and go for a while.
I know dogs should not generally be around sheep, but that's not the point of my tale!
