A question about : uninsured crash

Hello,

I'm not sure if you can help but I don't know what else to do.

8 years ago I was in a crash, my insurance had run out 23 days before and I was not aware of this. I found out when I checked my details to register my claim.

I was at fault for the crash.

I had another main car which was fully insured

Basically the people I hit have been paid over 40k and I have received a letter saying I have to pay this money.

A question about : Appeal against Dismissal

Wonder if you can assist please.
If I appeal against a dismissal at work and attend an appeal meeting with a higher boss, is there a time limit within which they should give me the result of my appeal? Also after I have been into work and gone through all the points for the appeal can they then ask me to go back a week later for further clarification as a continuance of the appeal?

A question about : non payment for work

Hi i was contacted by a subcontractor and asked if i could do some work on a city center council project 60 miles distance and agreed a price for a weeks work for two of us ,i had two mobile contact numbers and also a email address. When we finished it was impossible to get a answer on the phone but were told by email that we would be paid after 30 days.After six weeks we can get no answers from email or phone so i want to make a claim at the small claims court but don't have a address .

A question about : Advice on Debit Finance overpayments

I took out a gym membership in 2009 and after the 12 months was up, stopped going to the gym. I have just noticed that 2 years on I am still paying the monthly direct debit to Debit Finance Collections, this is an error on my part for not noticing I know . Do I have any rights in reclaiming the overpayment back, if so how would I go about it? I am about to write to the company and want to be fully aware of my rights beforehand (if any).

A question about : Avoiding probate

Hello, wonder if anyone can help us check if the following is legal and OK to do.

my sister has sadly been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer and given only weeks to live and has been very keen to get all her affairs in order this week, she has paid off the only debt she had Ј1000 credit card has no other liability's, assets excluding bed, TV, sofa and other household items, shares, property or savings etc and just 1 bank account with Ј60k in it that she received as a lump sum from early retirement.

My bank - nationwide used the incorrect IBAN NO. to pay an intentional payment. I have the original pay in slip to prove this...as a result my daughter has lost about Ј500-Ј1,000.

Also my husband had to spend than we had thought on hotel bills to stay in Dubai to negotiate with my daughters as to whether she could start her course/begin living in her university accommodation.

Surely the bank should compensate us for these costs also as they are directly linked their error?
