I am hoping that you will be-able to help me.
My friend and myself have been friends for years and we have been on holiday together previously 5 years ago.
We decided to book a holiday for June 2013 to give us something to look forward to and give us time to save/pay the balance bit-by-bit.

A question about : Tax codes/underpaid, recruitment agency not paying...

Hi, I was wondering if someone could advice. Help is much appreciated.
I work full time through recruitment agency, my tax code has always been 810L, and I always paid taxes.
On 4th Sept 2012 I started additional job, part time, about 20h a week.
I have received letter from HMRC informing me about tax code changes. I was expecting this as I know it is different if you have two jobs.

A question about : unpaid wages

Hi, Can anyone advise. Have worked for this company for 2 years but resigned in Sept due to difference of opinion. I thought working 60 hrs per week was too much and they wanted more. Agreed to stay till end Of Oct. Due to be paid Sept wages on 15th Oct but a director drew Ј5k from business acoount so no money for wages. They stopped trading on the 15th Oct.They have now said they are going into administration. Officially they have said they will try and pay every employee but nothing as yet.

A question about : Confused

Im currently in the process of seperating from my husband, we are about to put our house up for sale and split the proceeds 50/50. My problem is that he has always been negligent with money matters and has run up quite large credit card debts (in his name only) and he has said that if we split the equity on the house in half then all debts need to be split between us also. Is this correct?

Hi,

I booked a bootcamp for my wife for a week in October and paid by bank transfer to the woman who runs the bootcamp, Ј899 in total.
It was in the marbella region of Spain.

This camp was cancelled the day beforehand, due to the accommodation they chose being far below standard, with broken villa rooms, by the organiser.

I bought a netbook from ebay for Ј150. I've been on ebay for 6 years and had no serious problems until now. The seller had a feedback of 1 so I was a little nervous about it but I'm usually trusting of people (everyone has to start somewhere)

A question about : Sacked for being pregnant

My partner was (we allege) unfairly dismissed solely for becoming pregnant. We have a solicitor dealing with action against the former employer.

On the day my partner was dismissed she was told that she would still get her Maternity Pay. She was sacked at 27 weeks, a few weeks after informing her employer in writing with details of her last day and providing the Maternity Certificate. She also informed verbally at 12 weeks, so it wasn't a surprise.
