A question about : non payment for work
Hi i was contacted by a subcontractor and asked if i could do some work on a city center council project 60 miles distance and agreed a price for a weeks work for two of us ,i had two mobile contact numbers and also a email address. When we finished it was impossible to get a answer on the phone but were told by email that we would be paid after 30 days. After six weeks we can get no answers from email or phone so i want to make a claim at the small claims court but don't have a address .
I contacted the contractor of the project who would not give out the address, so i can send a registered letter before making a claim. any idea how we can move forward as we are desperate for our wages thanks for any help Alzi .
