A question about : Will change after dementia diagnosis?

MiL & FiL have had mirror wills for years (own home & about 25k savings).

Up until now (they're 88 & 90 yrs old) it was to each other on first death, then on 2nd death 50% split between their 2 sons and remaining 50% split between 4 grandchildren. For some reason they've decided to just split it 50% each to sons (excluding grandchildren now).

A question about : Getting a Will in place

This may be in wrong place but wasn't sure where to ask but I was recently thinking of sorting a will. I'm still young but I have 3 children and would like to have one in place to ensure my children are cared for.

I don't have a clue where to start. I have seen companies offering wills online. Does anyone have a company they would recommend or would I just be best going to a solicitor? Are the online ones reliable. Any advice appreciated.

A question about : notice under s 27 of the trustee act 1925

Wanting to keep solicitors fees to a minimum so looking to do this myself.

Don't belive my father would of had any debts (excluding CC) so;
Is it recommended to do.
If it is is there specail wording to be used
Any particular circular required to be covered ie just local town or entire county
Anything else I should be aware of?

I have been appointed executor of a friends Estate. He is divorced and has no contact with the ex-wife. His will states he wishes to leave his children a nominal amount with the remainder going to his current partner, who he had been with for a number of years.

I think I understand the main issues, it should be such a simple situation, but what exactly to put on the form is driving me crazy . Would be grateful if anyone could help.

Hi guys, My grandfather passed away and I am helping with the probate. I believe it is a simple case as there is only one property and a bank account involved which will not reach the inheritance tax threshold.

We're both in our 50's, me 56 and her 53 without a will. We have a 21 yearold son. We have lived together as Man & Wife since 1988 although not married.

I have one brother. She has two sisters and one brother. We both have ourMother's alive.

We have a paid for property, Ј150,000, cash savings, circa Ј80,000 and two cars (Ј15,000). She has her own savings of circa Ј32,000

In July I take early retirement and will take my works pension and will havecirca Ј200,000 from severance and pension lump sum.
