A question about : DIY Probate

Hi guys, My grandfather passed away and I am helping with the probate. I believe it is a simple case as there is only one property and a bank account involved which will not reach the inheritance tax threshold.

I have a few questions as I want to do this right first time, They may sound silly or stupid but I would rather be 100 % sure.

Questions as follow thanks in advance guys

For the Probate application form section B

B2A - That is sons and daughters still alive after the deceased person right?

B2A (B) Sons and daughters who died earlier in their life before the deceased right?

Therefore B2A (C) Is the children of the sons/daughters who died earlier in B2A(B)

Thats the first thing I was confused about.

Section B4 similarly ^

Also Section C: Applicants will be the widow and three applicants, But can someone challenge the probate even though the widow who will and is supposed to recieve 100 % of inheritance?

Thanks guys for any help sorry if I sound stupid. title=Embarrassment
