A question about : Sygma Bank Credit Cards

Hi All,

As discussed in detail on the Sub Prime Credit Thread it appears that Sygma bank are approving many applications including those from applicants who may not have the best credit files.

I thought that I would create a new thread as its not really a sub prime card and we could all do with a specific thread where we can discuss this and we are severely clogging up the Sub Prime Credit Thread.

A question about : "DPC" on natwest statement

hi,
i have DPC on my statement (in the column where it says things like INT (interest), TRF (transfer) etc.

what does DPC mean?

A question about : Minimum Finance Charge with Vanquis

This is my first credit card, and I noticed they charged me a Ј1 minimum finance charge this month.

I set up a direct debit with them the day I activated my card to take the full amount of any outstanding balance, so I was surprised to see this. I telephoned them, and they said it's because I bought something using my card around the date the bill was issued, so interest was charged on it as it appeared on my next statement.

Has anyone else out there got an MBNA SonyCard credit card?

I have had one of these almost since they were first launched around 2000/2001. They were originally operated by The Bank of Scotland who were very easy people to contact and get on with. The card is now operated by MBNA who are exactly the opposite in my view.
