A question about : Sainsbury Card

Used my Sainsbury Card in Tescos yesterday.

On the Tesco bill there's a paragraph saying they have added a 2.5% handling charge to the cost of the items.

Did a quick addition but it all added up correctly.

Anyone know if there is a 2.5% handling charge in Tescos when a Sainsbury card is being used there.

A question about : How long to wait after settling card?

I am about to settle my Egg card but will leave it open to make use of the anniversary offer and SBT facilities. I plan to apply for the Lloyds TSB 12 month 0% but am wondering how long to leave it before it will show on my credit record.

I have a few other 0% deals also at the moment so don't want to push things too hard

Been with Barclaycard for 2 years now, and they are driving me bananas.

Just for reference, I am 21 years old, Young Business Owner on PAYE income of 25k:

I hold 3 Credit Cards

Mint: 1.5K Credit Limit, 1k Balance on the 0% OFFER.
MBNA: 2.5K Credit Limit, 10.9% flat rate card, no balance.

Now comes to my gripe, Barclaycard 800 quid credit limit!!

A question about : AMEX DROPPING CASHBACK RATES

Just been tipped off Amex is dropping cashback rates on Blue and Platinum cards. !No need to worry as it isn't happening just yet (Oct), I've had a scan on the new rates and they're not disasterous, still topping the table for most things. !I will update my article in the next few days (when i've finished balance transfers)

A question about : Credit Cards which offer Air Miles

I have been collecting Qantas Frequent Flyer Points for the last 4 years through staying at Holiday Inn's and the like with work, but as a result of a recent expenses overhaul > by my new boss, i'm now in the position of not being able to collect points this way any more.

Therefore, does anybody know any credit cards (or any other means) available to the UK which allow me to collect Qantas Frequent Flyer points?

have got two credit cards at mo egg and ltsbgold

applied to virgin credit cards for a new one to transf balance accross to 0% - but was declined. after reading on here tht mbna usually say yes to most ppl i was really shocked.

I have never missed a payment ( except the last ltsb due to online banking glitch - their fault) which i got sorted and made sure it was not put on credit file.

A question about : Partnership Card

Just wondering whether anyone has applied for John Lewis Partnership Card.

I have just applied for an upgrade from my Waitrose Storecard to Partnership Card and have still not heard from them. I have no balance on my store credit (Limit Ј1250) and am wondering what my Partnership Card limit might be? Thanks.
