On Monday 17/10, co-op start a limited offer - switch your banking to them using their switching service, pay in minimum of Ј800 per month then after the 3rd month they will credit your account with Ј200!
You must switch at least 2 direct debits, and this offer doesnt include the cashminder account.

A question about : New Lloyds Club current account

Spoke to Lloyds customer services advisor today & asked if they could give any info on the soon to be released LLoyds Club account.
Was told the following:

Would have to be funded with Ј1500 a month or there would be a fee of Ј5.

2 Direct debits would have to be set up on the account.

There would be a linked savings account with bonus interest rates for 12 months.

Tiered interest up to Ј5000.

Special offers on magazine subscriptions & other deals.

A question about : Recent CitiBank Applicant?

Hello All.

After speaking with a few other members I decided to apply for the CitiBank Account. More out of curiosity than anything, oh plus the £50 Quidco Cashback ofc

For those of you who are not aware. The CitiBank account is a full current account, however some forum members have had success in applying for an account, even with adverse credit histories. Although this does not in anyway guarantee success for everyone.

I thought I would start this thread in relation to all the posts that I see regularly on this board regarding Basic Bank Accounts.

A question about : Natwest Technical Issues

Hi guys,

Are there any other people experiencing difficulties with Natwest this morning?

An online chat advisor at Natwest told me that they were experiencing difficulties with credits due in and debits due out but they didn't elaborate and when I tried to ask I was cut off from the chat.

I am wondering if anybody else had any more info.

A question about : Santander 123 Current Account

I want to get this account, for many reasons.

I'm just wondering if they will run a credit search? I won't be applying for an overdraft.

The reason I ask is that on my experian account it shows a drop since last report as I have 'recently opened one or more new credit accounts'

My mortgage for my first place and the electricity supplier are both now showing (they weren't since last time and I had a massively higher 'score').

Anyone know much about the background setting up etc on this account?
