A question about : santander 123 joint a/c interest on balance

Hi. Not very good with maths so cant work out if my months interest is correct. This is a joint account with myself a non tax payer and my husband a standard tax payer. Could someone tell me how to work out the monthly interest on a balance of approximately Ј14000. The transaction shows as interest after tax 2.12 deducted. I realised it wont be entirely accurate because the balance has fluctuated between 14k & 15k during the month but as its my first interest payment i would like to have a rough idea. Thanks

I notice when I pay for things using my Barclays Debit card using Chip and PIN if I check online banking my balance is reduced immediately, in fact I notice that the transactions even seem to appear on the statement the very next day now !.

A question about : Barclays

I've got a Barclays Debit Card and Barclaycard Credit Card. I'm going abroad in a few days, so phoned to let them know so that my cards aren't blocked, however they both said they cannot register my trip, and cannot stop my card from being blocked.

Is this right? I thought banks could now register your travel plans so that your cards are not blocked.

Has anyone had their Barclays debit/credit card blocked abroad? Is it a pain to unblock?

Recently changed banks accounts from natwest to tsb, now my money that was usually due on the Monday was always available on the Saturday, when I was with lloyds tsb years ago money became avalible on the Sunday is this the case with tsb or will my money now just be ready for me to draw out tomorrow

So I've just transferred the Ј800 into the bank account yesterday and then withdrew it. How long till I'm given the Ј100 incentive and Ј25 for charity? It was done within the 45 day period and I do have 2 direct debits. I was previously informed that the money needs to stay in the account but I call !!!!!!!! on that one, is that true?
