Hi everyone just signed up to one month free trial anytime dial up with tiscali buth teh telephone number for isp is 1470 0808 9933031 do you think this is correct?I have talk talk on my phone will I pay more?Do I have to put another code in front?Why does the number start with 1470?Is Sunil out there?Thanks

A question about : tesco broadband

This is just a polite warning to potential customers.

I was finally connected a lot later than they originally said, !it worked for two days and since then all I get are 721 errors.

I have had a search around the web, and it seems like lots and I mean lots of people are having problems with tesco.

For Ј24.99 a month Homecall is offering residential customers free local and national telephone calls as well as broadband internet access. The service will be available through Mr Caudwell's Phones 4 U high street stores and has no monthly limits on downloads ;D

A question about : NTL has taken full control of Virgin.net

This is just for information if you're on Virgin.net. A recent article on adslguide.org reports that NTL has acquired total control of Virgin.net (it used to own 49%). Users of Virgin.net will probably be aware that virgin.net uses the NTL backbone for their internet access anyway.

A question about : Tesco Broadband-HELP!!

I received an e-mail to say my Tesco Broadband was activated on Tuesday but I can't get connected.
The modem they sent does not seem to receive an ADSL signal as the right hand light flashes(whether it is connected to the phone socket or not).
I tried a Netgear DG834G router/Modem and this showed that there was an ADSL signal.
Contacted Tesco helpline after handing on the phone for ages and they said my line was definately activated, try re-installing the modem etc. This didn't work.

A question about : 1MB Broadband No Connection Charge + Free Modem

Supanet, the people from Time (hmm) are doing 1mb broadband with free connection and modem for Ј22.96 a month. Sounds like a good deal however Im always a bit suspicious of Time/Tiny

A question about : Wireless Broadband Sharing

Hi there,

Hope someone can help out here:

Have Broadband on main PC. I use a laptop for wireless BB with no probs whatsoever. But how do i enable my laptop to print to my main printer thats connected to my pc . Not connected to the router. Does it have to be connected to the router? if so what cable do i use? It's so confusing for me!!! The printer is network capable, but not sure how to print 'wireless'.

Any advice please?
