do I have to have an aerial plugged into the telly to be able to watch now tv? at present using an old virgin box but am thinking of getting rid-to save a bit of money.

A question about : Sky removed HD Channels

Last week, I came home, sat down ready to watch some NFL on Thursday night, and lo and behold my Sky channels had mysteriously switched around. Tried to get to the HD channels, but they appeared to have disappeared from my package. I pay a not insignificant sum north of Ј60 a month to get Sports and Movies, and have always received the HD channels as a perk of paying for those two packages.

A question about : Netflix, Amazon Prime, Now TV etc... what has what?

A question about : TV licence by Direct Debit

I have been paying it yearly by a credit card so far, but am thinking of switching to a DD because many bank current accounts require DDs nowadays and the interest I can get over-weights 0.5% CC cashback.

Is my understanding correct that monthly option doesn't incur any extra fees unlike the quarterly one?

This doesn't make much sense to me and I don't want wasting my time on trying to understand this nonsense.

A question about : New aerials or freesat

Just moved house having subscribed to talk talk in the old house. Never had any problems but the aerial in new house needs upgrading as channel 3,4 and 5 are all dodgy or missing due to signal quality. Couple of rooms requiring TV so guessing that's a few aerials needed and wiring into rooms as previous occupants had sky.

However it does have the satellite dish with existing wiring already coming into the rooms so will freesat be the better choice.
