A question about : getting credit help

Please help

My 20 year old Daughter lives at home as been in full time work with the same company for 3 years. Has 2 mobile phone contracts never defaulted on a payment . Wants to build her credit up. But keeps getting declined she has tried bank credit card. A store card and even spoke to the bank again!today!to see if she could get an over draft not that she needs it. We have done the Experian credit report showed very good on her rating. Any ideas on where or what to !do next 😟

A question about : New card but unsure if transfer will be done automatically?

I've just opened a pair of new accounts: MBNA for the 0% transfer to current account option, and Tesco for the 0% BT option. Object is to have cash in a high interest account, all at 0% with no fees.

During the MBNA application, it asked if I wanted to do a BT and if so, where to. I selected current account from the options and how much I wanted to transfer. The next screen showed the limit they gave me allowed for this to happen but there was no mention of it actually being done.

A question about : Credit cards in credit

I have just been told by Nationwide that I can't keep my credit card in credit. One might wonder why anybody would want to do this. I live alone, am elderly, and if I were to be admitted to hospital or in some other way be unable to settle my monthly account I want sufficient funds there to cover my purchases. If I were to use direct debit I should have to make sure that my current account had sufficient funds in it to pay off the total.

A question about : passport renewal

Help please anyone. I was cut up in the backlog of passport renewal and I had paid for my girls to go on a school trip. Unfortunately, their passport failed to come back before the trip and was unable to go. Now the school is not willing to refund the money Is there anything I can do? Many thanks.

A question about : super balance transfer (SBT) card?

Are there any of these left? I had the old Egg card many years ago and could use that to transfer a positive balance to my current account with no fee.

There must be a card still available which allows this?

A question about : regulating solicitor behaviour

Hello Can anyone please help me- i am writing in connection with my elderly mother (85) who suffered very bad injuries (multiple fractures) and was in intensive care following being hit by a revolving door in a well known builders centre.
The case was taken on by a solicitor who has successfully negotiated a compensation amount and also the firm has agreed to pay the solicitors cost. The compensation has been paid in full to the solicitor.

So stoozing sounds such a good idea. I have a lot of expenditure coming up, halifax offer a O% purchase credit card! what could be simpler?

Hi everyone. in November last year I purchased some insurance through a broker and my insurer went bust. This meant after paying upfront I was insured for only 11 months, not 12. Could I make a claim here on my credit card for a refund? if so for the month only or the whole amount?
