passport renewal

A question about : passport renewal

Help please anyone. I was cut up in the backlog of passport renewal and I had paid for my girls to go on a school trip. Unfortunately, their passport failed to come back before the trip and was unable to go. Now the school is not willing to refund the money Is there anything I can do? Many thanks.

  You've posted in a section about credit cards, you may want to try reposting perhaps in the consumer rights section - Consumer Rights or the Marriage, Relationships & Families (to see if other parents have experienced similar).
  It may be useful if you when you do repost if you add some more detail, such as how soon before the trip were you able to let the school know your children would not be attending, what paperwork you had from the school originally in relation to cancelling/refunds etc.
