A question about : Leaving BT before the end of a line saver year
Firstly, sorry to ask this here, rather than researching myself, but trying to use BT's help pages is worse than wading through treacle, and someone may have gone through the process and have a definitive answer.
If you have paid a year through BT's line saver, and have some months to run, can you switch without penalty and get a refund?
Best answers:
- Nope, once you've paid up front for line rental saver there is a 'no refund' policy in place. if you have paid for BB or call plan 3 months in advance (i.e. on your most recent bill), these however, would be refunded from the switch date.
- There that was not difficult a simple Google 'BT line saver terms'
Quote: - [QUOTE=rockin_plumber;67614198]They say it's non refundable when you sign up, although some people here have had success getting it refunded.
Initial success with refunds did not last very long .
Plus that was only with the 30 day notification of price rise .
BT now say no you signed up to pay twelve months and get a discount for this advanced line rental . - I got line rental refunded on Friday nine months into the contract.
