Pulling too much!

A question about : Pulling too much!

Hi everyone,

I have a 7month springer spaniel, he's been to puppy training and we have been using a halti to help with his pulling, but my god he's even pulling with this now.

Just got back from a walk that should take half hour but took me hour and half, started on his halti and thought I would try him just on his collar and lead doing the stopping when pulled or turning round.

guinea pigs as pets

A question about : guinea pigs as pets

I'm thinking about getting 2 or 3 guinea pigs, girls sounds like the best option, but theres so much info online i'm getting a bit lost. Has anyone got/had guinea pigs and can help me out?
How can i keep costs down, i've read using fleece for bedding can work, but not sure how it would work, just a fleece blanket, or strips, how often would it need changing washing?
Whats the best to feed them, i ask because it seems most cat food really isn't that good for cats, so is it the same for guinea pigs?
Any other tips?

stem cells therapy

A question about : stem cells therapy

This has been done in other countries for years but seems to be relatively new to UK.

Has anyone's pet gone through this kind of therapy? What for?

Any experiences to share?

Thanks xx

Bach Flower Remedies

A question about : Bach Flower Remedies

We have a 12 year old extremely clingy cat - that wakes us up EVERY morning at about 5am to be let outside.
He had his THYROID gland removed last year - but this made no difference.
He also fights with his brother - which, previously - he didn't
We have tried FELIWAY with no sucess.
We are considerng trying Bach Flower Remedies and wonder if anyone has had any sucess with this ?

poo eating dog

A question about : poo eating dog

Hi, my lab is a year old and obsessed with finding poo in the park.

Apart from telling him to leave and I don't want to go down the muzzle route, has anyone successfully changed their dog to different dog food that has stopped this habit?

Please no babies...

A question about : Please no babies...

This is most definitely not a pet question, but it is about animals.

Small furry ones, squatting in my flat. From the first night I moved in, Mousey made his presence clear. Being a reasonable woman, I told the him that squatting is illegal and he was being given fair warning to leave. About two days - until the humane trape and sonic thingy were delivered.

He ignored me, and spent the next few weeks ignoring me, running around in front of me while I was watching tv, not even pretending to be scared of me.

Meet Barney & Scampi

A question about : Meet Barney & Scampi

I recently lost my beloved cat Scampi & had a lot of support from posters here & after taking in a rescue cat that the vet had, a couple of posters asked to see some pics of Barney. Original thread started by me here.
