I'm rying to find a decent dentist in Worcestershire, I moved here a couple of years ago and haven't got round to it but am having trouble getting recommendations, help anyone?

A question about : Time off for families

Don't know if this has been posted before, anyway there is a booklet for time off for families, unpaid granted but I assume Tax credits will make up for some of the pay as earnings will be down.The website is www.worksmart.org.uk If you have a child born between I think it's December 93 you are entitled to the leave but it must be taken before March 2005 and you must give your employer 4 weeks notice bit late for the summer holidays but October holidays will soon be on us.

A question about : Racial comments at school

It was inevitable really

Son reports that a kid at school is being mean to him. When queried says lad calls him That Indian xxxxx

Son is 11, and mixed race, other kid and parent is known to us and they were at primary together but never friends.

School is 'good community type' white suburban.

Indian parent says just ignore it, he's just trying to wind you up and will get fed up of it if you don't react. If it starts to bother you or gets worse tell us again and we'll contact the school.

A question about : baby sleeping bags

Hi,

In the hunt for decent priced baby sleeping bags (they're all the rage nowadays sweety ) for our future sprog we saw a stand at the NEC baby show a few months back and visited the site yesterday.

These bags everywhere else are Ј20-25 but on the site they are Ј16 - 20!! Seem to be good quality and service on the phone seemed ok too.

A question about : The Baby Show at Olympia

Just found out there is a baby show on at Olympia in October this year. Tickets are Ј10.50 in advance (Ј12.50 on the door)

Anyone come across any discount vouchers for this?

The following was announced today by the Inland Revenue

28 October 2003: Detailed proposals for the Child Trust Fund (CTF) were published today.
As the Chancellor announced in Budget 2003, each child born on or after 1 September 2002 will receive an initial endowment of Ј250 rising to Ј500 for the poorest children - a reform which is progressive and universal, benefiting every child and with more to those who need help most.

A question about : Wedding Invitations

Myself and the lucky fella are getting married next June and are going through the motions of organising this beast!

We have been shocked at the cost of wedding invitations and other stationery (namely Save the Date cards)!

Can anyone help us out with some tips or ideas about reasonably priced suppliers?
