A question about : Really fed up with birth mothers emotional blackmail.

It's not advice I am after as such, more a chance to vent some frustration.

First some background info...

Ok so I am just about to turn 40, and on the day of my birth I was swiftly placed in a home for unwanted children by my birth family. I was subsequently adopted by people who didn't so much want children, but felt that as devout Baptists they should have some to 'fit in' with their other church members.

A question about : Code for education city

Don't know if its of use to anyone but I just signed up to education city. There's a recommend a friend code where you both get an extra 3 months on your subscription. So you can get 15 months for price of 12. If you start a free trial and then sign up quickly you also get a fiver off.

A question about : Advice about younger brother

I have a younger brother (22) and I would like some opinions from people who aren't emotionally involved.

Younger brother has always lived at home and doesn't pay rent, gets taxi serviced everywhere and is smothered by love from my parents. As an older sister I have been told to actively go out of my way to help him as he is blood. I regularly invite him out to parties I hold, invite him to the theatre, even arranging for him to go to Glastonbury with me etc.

A question about : decree absolute.

I am getting re-married and I have lost my decree absolute, I have my nisa with ref numbers etc, I have seen the costs to replace the absolute and the waiting times before you receive it in post. Sadly I don't have the time and need it asap.

can I just walk into the county court and request a new copy and wait there?

A question about : Do I message my ex husbands new girlfriend or not

Hi, I have a dilemma. Myself and my ex husband split last year and although it wasn't a shock to us I think it was to the kids. My 12 year old daughter was ok at first but it seems to be affecting her more than the other kids.

My ex has had a new girlfriend since just before Christmas and she met the kids at the beginning of January. Ever since then my relationship with my daughter seems to have gone downhill rapidly. This could be a coincidence though which is why I have a dilemma.

A question about : Booking a holiday in term time ?

If you intend to take a holiday in term time do you just let the school know your child will not be in. Or do you have to fill out a form requesting time off even though you know it will not be granted.

Any experiences please. it will be for 5 days over the May Bank Holiday.

A question about : Just Don't What To Do Anymore

My mum is really sick at the moment has been in and out of hospital since November with lung problems she now has a permant drain fitted. However it's not seemed to have helped she has cancer in her diaphragm (which they haven't started treatment for yet) and has now developed sepsis from her radiotheraphy scars from breast cancer she got in 2013 which have still not healed properly. She is on oromorph for the pain from her breathing and can bearly eat. She seems to get a bit better then nose dive again with something else
