A question about : Jungle garden..... where to start?

ok, take a look at how our new garden looked like when an agent took some shots years ago. The second photo shows what it looks like now It's hard to know where to start, but I think the grass growing through the shingle (yes there actually is still shingle under all that greenery!) is the priority (along with the fence). Surprisingly there is an undersheet to prevent grass growing through, but the grass has just blasted through it.

A question about : 14 ceramic pots ~ what to plant?

I am an inexperienced, haphazard and forgetful would-be gardener. Please in your replies treat me as an absolute beginner as I know almost nothing about this subject.

My small patio garden gets plenty of light but no direct sunshine. I currently have containers with shrubs, a yucca, heathers, lavender and a maple.

A question about : fruit trees bushes

Hi was wondering if anyone could advise me on when and where the best/cheapest place is to get these iv never grown trees before but would like to try, I bought some bushes from the Ј1 and they never grew! Lol
Also which is best for beginers?

A question about : New Build Garden Help

Hi all.

Looking for a bit of advice for a complete gardening newbie.

We moved intoa new build house in October last year, with a garden.

They had turfed the garden in the weeks before we moved in, and since then, there has been no chance to do anything to it.
I would probably have cut it if it has stayed dry for more than 20 minutes, but it is now reasonable long, with patches all over where it has failed to take root, or the length and rain has ment that it is very patchy.

A question about : Wheres cheapest for perennial plugs

Hi, We just moved house last year, so we are just getting around to sorting out the garden now. Does anyone know any cheaper websites where I can get perennial plugs? Also, what types of plants does Aldi sell and when, as I haven't had a garden before, all I have noticed is the larger fruit/bay trees that they have at the entrance. Thanks

A question about : Stunning house plant

Now that my Christmas tree is down I'd love a big houseplant to put in the corner. It's quite bright, but the house is centrally heated

Any ideas?
