Debt-Free Wannabe

A question about : HSBC default

I'm trying to help my friend sort out her credit and hopefully improve it. She has a HSBC default of 340 and she has informed me that 300 of this has been made up of charges and default fees, She is on benefits and is a vulnerable person, these charges put her into more and more financial difficulty and caused her to default on her mobile contract as she did not have the means to pay. Is there any way she can claim back the 300 towards bank charges so she can finally settle this debt?

Morning Dudes

Im currently looking into consolidating my car loan and 2 credit cards.

My car loan has a settlement figure just now of Ј3900

im currently paying it back at Ј104 a month over 5 years, im about a year into it. I believe the rate is 5.5%

i have 2 0% credit cards

sainsburys - Ј2300
Cap 1 - Ј500

Both cards are at their limit just now and im only paying the minimum.

to cut a long story short me and my husband have a lot of debt.
here's a breakdown of what is where so you have some idea......
1) Ј12,500 egg loan......to run until 2011 only just taken out for consolidation purposes.
2) Ј2100 egg credit card.....0% until march.
3) Ј675 argos card.....299=0% for 12 months (about 8 months left) and Ј259 of it 0% for 6 months (5 months left.
