Hi,

I put my car in for its first MOT this morning. It is a 2011 Renault Twingo Silverstone, done 12000 miles and in very good condition - had it serviced every year since i've had it and never had to do any repairs - hence why I need some advice about cost of getting it fixed.

A question about : Honda CRV hub Caps?

Hi 'am after some new hub caps for a 06 Honda CRV. The ones on at the moment are steel & some what rusty in places now.They are the ones bolted in the middle. Could anyone recommend a site to buy a set?

A question about : need a comfortable sporty looking car

My wife and I have a sports car, we have retired and my wife has a back problem, the run flat tyres and the hard suspension give her a problem and we have been hiring cars until she gets better but it looks like thats not going to happen soon but wife does not want to part with our car so need to find a comfortable sporty looking car that she would be happy with so looking for any recommendations, good mpg also as only get 30 to 32 mpg on the present car.

Hi guys.

My car insurance is due for renewal in March so I'm planning ahead with what to take out this year. Usually I buy the cheapest I can find but this year is a bit different so I'd like a wee bit of advice please.

A question about : Transfer of Car

I have my car insured with 3 named drivers including eldest daughter.

I want to give the car to my eldest daughter as a birthday present as a surprise. She is at university living away from home during term time.

Is it possible to arrange DVLA transfer and change of insurance in advance without the knowledge of my daughter or will she need to be aware and have to sign documentation herself.?

From my limited research it seems to be not to be possible.

Has anyone found a way to handle this?

A question about : only one key with used vehicle

my mate purchased a used vehicle from a well known dealership
it had only one key. we question this at the time and they said we would have to go to kia dealership to get a key.
my mate went to a locksmith who said they could cut a key and programme it but when they put it into their machine it said cannot programme.
The assistant said the dealership what sold the vehicle should have provide two keys and we would have to go to a kia dealership to get a key. and its Ј160 for a key.

A question about : New Car

Hi,

Might be a really simple answer to this and I might just be being thick but I am getting a brand new car on Sunday 1st March.

I have been told what the registration will be however the reg isn't recognised on the DVLA/insurance comparison websites.

How can I insure it to drive on Sunday if noone recognises the reg?

A question about : Dashboard Camera

Having watched Car Crash Britain on ITV recently it has made me consider getting a dashboard camera for my car. When it came to insurance claims and prosecuting other drivers the video evidence was invaluable in each and every case. Does anyone have one fitted in their car? Any recommendations?
