A question about : Car Auction Tips for First Timer

Looking to try and get a bargain at a car auction.

I went to one a couple weeks back just to observe. I am Looking to get my Mrs a decent first car, for her and the baby to be mobile.

Any tips or advice before purchasing a car there?

Obvious stuff I have thought of are to try examine the car condition. Look out for any trace of accident on the car (cat d or c, etc). Anything else??
Do they tell you how the car got to auction? ie. repo?

I have suddenly found myself a single mum unexpectedly and I trying to navigate the maze of my finances etc.

I need to buy a car. I have some cash I can use, not a lot but enough to get an older car. I have been lucky enough to have had company cars before I met my husband followed by him buying the car.

I signed up to the First Great Western special offer where you get Ј5.00 off on any ticket over Ј6.00, but there's a snag in that you can't book single tickets, only returns which is no good to me for a trip that I'm going on to London next week as I wanted to use it to buy a single from London Euston to Runcorn.

In any case, I'll use it for another trip that I'm going on to London next month.

A question about : New Car Tyres Required

I am after 2 new front car tyres for my Hyundai i30 and I cant decide what make or style to go for.

The tyre size are 205/55/R16 91V:
I have looked at so many reviews and just cant decide, I have had a look at the Dunlop Sport Bluresponce, Goodyear Efficientgrip, Pirelli Cinturato P7.

I would really appreciate any help and suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

A question about : Off-peak Return Train ticket

I need to get from Reading to University Station (Birmingham) but I want to go from Reading to Worchester Forgate Street than to Birmingham University Station, on the way back I want to go from Birmingham Uni to Birmingham New street, than onto Bristol Parkway than from Bristol to Reading. Can I do that with an Off-peak return ticket or do I need to get an Anytime ticket.

A question about : PCP Voluntary Termination & Excess mileage

Hi just looking to kick start my VT of a car under a PCP.

Having just spoken to the VT department and mileage details etc given across they tell me I will have the excess mileage to pay, however, challenging them I advised that under the CCA as per the paperwork, as long as the half way point has been reached and paid then there is nothing more to pay, but they argue that I still have the excess mileage to pay regardless.

A question about : Air bags not deployed after hard impact

Hi All,

Last week I was involved in a car accident. To cut a long story short I was filtering right on a green light, and the car on the opposite side went straight through on a red light causing a 3 car collision.

My car is an Audi Q5, and took a big impact to the front and side. The car was not drivable after the impact and has to be towed to the nearest garage.

My airbags did not deploy, but the airbags in the other 2 cars did.
