A question about : worth remortgaging?

Apologies in advance for my limited financial knowledge. I would really welcome any opinions on my mortgage situation.

I co-own a flat and a BTL flat with my partner. Our mortgage has 7 years to run and has Ј30,000 left on it. The BTL is interest only for Ј100,000 with 11 years left on it. Both mortgages are cat mortgages on the standard variable rate. Each flat is worth about Ј450,000. The flats are in the same block.

A question about : Electoral Roll & mortgage application advice please

We have just sold our property, have moved in with family, and have found a new build which would be ready at the end of March. When I called and changed my address on electoral roll the other day, they said it wouldn't register until April 1st. Is this now going to affect our mortgage application as we need to get moving with applying? I've got a feeling from what I have read it's going to throw a real spanner in the works... How do we get around this?

A question about : 12 month Fixed Term Contract

wonder if anyone can help me here.

Me & misus are trying for our 1st house, offer has been accepted etc, however my misus is working as different agency worker for nearly 3 years without a gap.

now she has been offered a fixed term contract directly form RBS(new employer) for a year. as this will be her 1st contracted job, mortgage advisor(london & country) was not sure if they can secure a mortgage for us.

we are going for 90% LTV and cant get mortgage on my own income.

I currently have a joint mortgage with my soon to be ex partner.

House value approx. Ј200k. Current mortgage Ј110k.

I have Ј20k in savings which I will be using to pay OH (amount agreed by us both, reflects the Ј50k deposit I put in).

I will be getting some money via my parents (inheritance from grandfather). We haven't decided on the final amount but it will be somewhere between Ј30k and Ј50k.

A question about : Metro application and borrowed money returned by friend

Hi Guys

We are in the process of buying our first property with the help of Mortgage adviser. We have received AIP from Metro Bank. They completed a Valuation survey and we are waiting for Metro’s decision, after all the documents were submitted in in 1st week of Feb-15.

Does anyone here has past experience with METRO bank for Mortgages?

A question about : How Can a 66year young re-mortgage.

We would like to know if there is a safe re-mortgage at my age of 66 as we don't wish to move from our bungalow but my wife is disabled yet still works 22 hours a week and we have 2 loans due to finish January 2016 but she just cannot continue no longer as its too much for her. Any suggestions please.

Me and my partner applied for a mortgage. We have Ј20,000. The house is Ј193,000 new build so a further 20% from help to buy.

Me and my partners history isnt great. I have a default (paid) from 2 half years ago by Orange for Ј105. Nothing since then.

My partner just has a few payday loans from last year.

We went to a broker who looked at both credit files and said potentially meet the criteria for 80-85% mortgage.
