A question about : Least busy time and day in Aldi

I guess most Aldi stores are quite packed due to their success. Is there any optimum day & time when it's least busy?

Instead of having a separate counter to deal with issues, Aldi do it at the main checkout which holds up the entire queue. Perhaps its deliberate to dissuade you from reclaiming?

A question about : Cheap spuds at Morrisons

My local Morrisons are selling 12.5g bags of Maris Piper spuds for Ј2, they were Ј6.99.

Not sure if it is a national offer, or just my local selling off ones that are near there best before date.

There are some cheap ones on there for Ј10 which come in gorgeous lidded hamper baskets. I have ordered three and will use the contents for gifts and recycle the hampers next year for pressies!

A question about : Waitrose Wine

There are some good offers about at Waitrose for win, especially if you have a MyWaitrose card, which gets you an extra 10%.

You get an extra 5% off if you buy 6 or more bottles and you buy from a shop. The 5% for 6+ does not apply to online purchases. I have checked this.

A couple of examples:

I bought some Torres Vina Esmeralda, reduced by 20% from Ј8.49 to Ј6.79, then down to Ј6.11 with the myWaitrose 10%, then down to Ј5.80 for buying 6+ bottles.

A question about : Sainsburys frozen turkeys half price

Sainsburys frozen turkeys and crowns now half price, eg mini turkey now Ј4.25, small Ј6.30 etc. Lots in London Colney.

Tesco frozen turkey joints also half price, and Tesco bag of frozen sausagemeat 50p

A question about : Aldi Reductions

I thought there was an existing thread for Aldi reductions (sale type) but can't find it if there was! And I didn't want to post on the good & bad buys thread, as it seems to be more for recommendations rather than price cuts iyswim.

Anyway, in my local, they had the Twinings Swiss Hot Chocolate reduced from Ј1.99 to 99p for 350g

Also, Birds Custard powder 300g reduced from 99p to 49p
