Aldi Reductions

A question about : Aldi Reductions

I thought there was an existing thread for Aldi reductions (sale type) but can't find it if there was! And I didn't want to post on the good & bad buys thread, as it seems to be more for recommendations rather than price cuts iyswim.

Anyway, in my local, they had the Twinings Swiss Hot Chocolate reduced from Ј1.99 to 99p for 350g

Also, Birds Custard powder 300g reduced from 99p to 49p

• Just to add, the Twinings Swiss hot chocolate is also dairy free (my LO is allergic to cows milk and dairy free chocolate is like gold dust!)

• I bought this months ago, I haven't touched it so it must be languishing somewhere at the back of my cupboard. Bet it's solidified to a clump.
  Oh well, another one for the baking stash.
• In my local today, amongst other Christmas stock, they'd reduced Stollen bites to 5p a pack, large Panettone in a very useful tin to 35p, chocolate coated brazils to 29p, and biscotti type biccies to 49p. Damn my sweet tooth
• Hopefully they will have sold out of all these fattening goodies by the time I go on Thursday! Otherwise they will all be leaping into my trolley!
• V little left from Christmas in the Aldi I visited today. The chilli nuts were down to 99p / 200g bag - (originally Ј1.99 and then Ј1.49) and the Jamaican rum truffles were down to 49p / 200g bag.
  Luxury iced topped Christmas cake 907g was reduced to Ј1.99 from Ј3.99.
