A question about : Thai visa?

Hi

I wonder if someone would be able to help with regard to a visa question.

My son is going backpacking next week. he has a one way ticket to Bangkok.He arrives in Bangkok on Thursday afternoon and has a train booked to take him to Laos on the Thursday evening.

I have read the info on visas and I think that will be ok and he won't have to buy an additional visa as he is exiting Thailand could someone confirm if this is correct.

Both my wife & I have clubcard a/c's & I have a Virgin miles a/c.

Virgin do not have a family a/c unlike Avios, unless you are a gold member.

I'm looking to transfer the balance of both CC accounts across to my Virgin a/c. But I have been informed that I can only move my points to my Virgin a/c & not wife's?

Combining all our clubcard points will give us the two return flights to the US.
