A question about : Beware debit card charges if buying currency at Debenhams

Be warned, Debenhams make a hidden charge when you use your debit card in store. I recently purchased Euros having gone through the tool on here and printed the voucher. In-store I presented this and my debit card, never expecting to be charged for using this form of payment.
Only later when checking my account did I find a separate deduction for this transaction, effectively a 2% surcharge.
I immediately emailed Debenhams to complain, here's their reply:-

A question about : Easyjet fares

I was looking to book a flight on Easyjet the other day.

I looked up the fares and then, when I looked again after about ten minutes the fares seemed to have dropped about ten per cent. I booked the flight but when I looked again after about an hour the fares seemed to have returned to their original level.

Was this a new marketing strategy, some sort of individual price quotation system or simply a glitch ?

Hi all. I've found a flight to Oz with expedia that is Ј200 per person cheaper than direct with the airline. Just wondering what people's experiences are with them, as I've never used them before? It will total a Ј400 overall saving vs booking directly with the airline.

I've just booked 2 weeks in an economy size car for around 200 quid via this site. The car hire is with Budget at Majorca (Palma) at the beginning of July.

The site is aimed at the US market but was showing me the price in EUR. Anyone have any idea if this booking would be honoured? I was careful to check for any terms stating the hirer should be US resident. They were offering an insurance upgrade but clearly stated that part was for US residents only (I'll need to take a separate policy).

I have seen quite a few of these appearing over the past year or so. Has anyone used them? I would just like to know how much it costs to buy Euros in this way compared to other ways.

I was thinking of getting the Halifax card for the excellent exchange rate they offer, but have also heard cash withdrawals affect your credit rating, would this still be the case with Euro withdrawals abroad?
