A question about : Eudelay court action

We have a claim in for a flight delay from Menorca, it has now progressed to a stage where EU delay will start court proceedings on our behalf. Has any one used them and experiences the court procedure? just wondering whether to go ahead or not

On the 7th Oct 2009 my Fly Thomas Cook flight number TCX 311L Departing 0600hrs From Heraklion Crete to Birmingham (UK) was cancelled due to mechanical failure, after several hours I was taken to a hotel and flown out later that evening.

tcx 2412 to Sofia 10.1.2015.

Actually flew 24 hours later, I have a claim in just wondered if anyone else had one in for the same flight and date ? Have you heard anything?

A question about : BA response to my claim

Last August BA over booked our direct flight from Gatwick to Orlando. They put us on a coach to Heathrow where we had to travel 6 hours later via Washington. Our flight landed the following day 7 hours later than the flight we had booked and paid for. We had no option other than to travel on another day via a different route. We were given compensation for the 'inconvenience'. After reading the new ruling on Money saving expert, I put a claim into BA. I have just received the following reply -

I have been informed that I am entitled to delayed flight compensation for a recent flight from Bristol to Dublin under EU regulation 261/2004. We were delayed by just over 5 hours. I have since sent a fax and letter to ryanair using a template I found on the net as shown below. Their response by email is below this.

I recently flew from Manchester to NYC, the booking was with Thomas Cook. It was a BA flight operated by American Airlines. The booking codes all began with BA.
The flight was cancelled and we were delayed almost 5 hours while they had to get a replacement plane.
I've been chasing BA, however they say as it was operated by AA it is them who are responsible for the compensation.

Can anyone advise if this is correct.
