A question about : Lost cruise due to flight problems

A bit complicated but I hope someone can help.
We were due to fly to Singapore last night. The flight was booked from Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur with a connecting flight to Singapore. We booked the whole thing as a package through an agent.
The plane didn't take off last night and we were put in a hotel. This morning they told us that the flight would go but would not get us to Singapore in time to catch the boat.

A question about : Question on bad weather hours before the delay

Hi,
My question is: If there was bad weather many hours before and this has a knock on effect to my delay - am I able to claim?

My delay happened because the plane wasn't at the airport and ready to leave - and then I was told not to board because I would have missed my connection. Apparently the plane was not at Heathrow yet because of fog earlier in the day.

I sent Lufthansa the claim but they sent this back (excerpt below). (they made a mistake, my flight was from Heathrow not Frankfurt.

A question about : Pocket Guide

I wonder if there is a handy pocket guide, as per MSE's Sale of Goods Act/Consumer Rights doodah, that can be taken on flights, with all the Compensation due permutations neatly laid out, including relevant excerpts from Reg 261/2004?
Might be useful when dealing with airline staff in letting them know what their actual obligations are.

A question about : Ba paid me but not my sister who was on the same flight

I claimed compensation for a ba flight that was delayed over 3 hrs. They paid out quickly. My sister who travelled with her family on the same flight also claimed and ba have not paid them and are claiming they do not actually pay and it is up to the CAA.

What would you advise.
