A question about : Thomas cook flights sept 2014

Our flight from Larnaca Cyprus to Cardiff on the 21.9.14 was delayed 16hours, sent claim form to thomas cook who have now rejected the claim due to extraordinary circumstances caused by a 'bird strike'. I have found out that the same flight on the 28.9.14 also had 16hr delay caused by bird strike, I have complained again to Thomas Cook but still declining case.... any ideas anyone else had this problem

I was delayed for over 8 hours also treat really portly be our representative. And I have have put a claim in for compensation to thomas cook airlines which was rejected. I kept at them but no joy. So went to CAA ( civil aviation authority ) which they said the can't help me with my claim. I now have to go through NEB but it's all in spanish! Need help

I thought I would throw another topic in here, I was bored this afternoon so I started to wonder how we the regular posters, came here, obviously seeking advice about flight delays? A question about : Thomas Cook Flight No TCX995L -13 OCT 2009

The above flight from Malta to Birmingham was delayed for just over 23 hours so when the EU ruling came out in Oct 2012 I wrote to Thomas Cook asking if we were entitled to compensation. They replied in February 2013 rejecting our claim on technical grounds.

A question about : Flight delay compensation

Hi

Wondered if anyone could help. I booked a British Airways package from Aberdeen to New York and we flew from Heathrow to and from JFK with American Airlines. We had a delay in returning to the UK and was more that 3 hours delayed in returning. BA have said I can't claim through them and has to be American Airlines. Not sure how I stand with this one... any help??

My Family and I went on a holiday to India in December 2014 and our flight was delayed by Air India for 2 days. We used the template on the Money Saving website to make a claim and I have heard nothing further from Air India other than a phone call after the 30 day period to inform me someone was looking into it.
