Flight Delay Compensation

A question about : Flight Delay Egyptair

Can I claim compensation for a flight delay of approximately 6.5 hours and/or baggage delayed for 48 hours, this was on the 25/10/2014 at Heathrow (Heathrow Disruption After IT System Failure Hits Passenger Baggage Processing). The connecting flight was missed at Cairo to Sharm el Sheikh, we arrived about 6.5 hours later. I have searched the flight number (MS123) for the replacement connecting flight, but it doesn't seem to exist. This flight was also delayed, initially for refuelling, but then technical problems.

A question about : Delayed flight missed connection delayed more than 3 hrs

I was delayed back from geneva to London abs as a result could not make my flight connection back to glasgow.

Ba put us up in a hotel overnight.

Am I entitled to flight delay compensation.

Whilst they put us up in a hotel my flight home meant I missed the 1st half of a rugby game I had bought tickets for. This was an international and the tickets cost Ј50 each.

Can I claim compensation for delay.

A question about : Air India Response

Air India cancelled our flight due to Operational Reasons ( have a piece of paper which they gave out on the day stating this.) We arrived at Heathrow at 10.00 ready for the flight at 1.00pm. Only to find it had been cancelled.

Does this mean I cannot claim?

We had a flight delay of nearly 10 hours with Thomson airways, the flight was December 2014, this was an outbound flight and so delayed the start of our holiday,I wrote to Thomson requesting compensation, I have only just received a letter from them rejecting my claim, there reason: extraordinary circumstances due to bird damage, so they are stating this is the reason for the delay.
