A question about : is there a minimum wage for self employment?

can anyone tell me pls? I get Ј3 per hour for 1 of the dogs I walk and he gets looked after for 3 hours a day, thats 15 hours a week - I do various other jobs too but this is my main one - is this ok for WTC reasons?

A question about : Avon / Betterware / Kleeneze Etc!

My wife has been looking into several ways to earn a little extra in the community. She has looked at Avon, Betterware, Kleeneze, phoenix-cards and a few others.

Does anybody have any experience in these fields that may care to shed some light on this? I know that none of them are get rich quick schemes like they all seem to put in the info packs, but are any worthwhile? Kleeneze seemed very expensive running costs?

A question about : Jobseeking strategy

I’m currently trying to find employment after long term incapacity and I don’t want to let a new employer know. I know it’s immoral and dishonest, but my intention is to make out I have only recently gone onto benefits after self employment or maybe some other more suitable circumstances?

How should I go about giving tax details and is there some way an employer can find out anyway? My p45 says I can send it back to the Inland Revenue office instead of the new employer and make do with an emergency tax code.

A question about : sick lines required every 8 weeks

Firstly, I dont know much about benefits. I have receive Incapacity Benefit since Nov 04 and have to go back every 8 weeks for sick lines. I have 2 ongoing issued, firstly a back problem, and secondly an unknown problem (re unexplainable and extensive tiredness) which I am undergoing tests for

Now, the tests I am waiting on will take place in September. It seems silly to go back every 8 weeks until then. The back problem has been going on for 2 years now and I dont see it getting better any time soo.

A question about : Working Neighbourhoods :)

I have just returned to full time work this week after long unemployment through illness. I was lucky enough to live in an area that has a Working Neighbourhoods scheme which provides more help than the job centre do at finding you work etc. They provided me with one weeks pay because I had to do a week in hand.

Hi my daughter will be leaving school this may @ 15 her 16th birthday in Aug. Will she be able legally at this time to work full time without restrictions ?
