A question about : Compensation from NatWest due to incorrect default

I recently won my case against NatWest to have a wrongfully placed default on my credit files removed.

To date this has only been removed from Equifax, both Experian and CallCredit have yet to be updated.

So far they have provided a cheque for 80 initially and more recently another 100 due to the ongoing 'human errors' in resolving the matter.

I am a pensioner on state pension and pension credit
My Husband died in March and left me with a funeral bill of 4000 pounds ,he had a funeral plan of 2004 pounds leaving just under 2000 pounds short,
I have paid the stone mason 550 pounds and owe 1350 pounds to funeral director and 200 pounds to Cardiff council.
i am paying funeral director 100 pounds a month and Council 10 pounds.

Hi,
I'm trying to sort out a bit of a dilemma and not sure the best path to take.

Having just found I have to pay out double for my bank overdraught fee now and trying hard to pay off higher interest accounts first, I'm now faced with either paying my overdraught off to the point I'm just paying off the Ј1 a day limit or paying off a credit card and trying to clear the other debts at high interest.

I'm not sure now which is the higher interest.

A question about : Advice on loan and mortgage repayment

Hi,
I have been advised by my bank (natwest) to seek independent financial advice.
14 months ago work dried up and I fell into arrears with mortgage and loan repayments an OD charges. I negotiated a repayment plan for the mortgage for 6 months which has just come up for review. During this time I made no repayments for the loan or OD.
The new payments that the bank have proposed are Ј300 a month more than I can afford (this includes loan and OD repayments).
