A question about : Court Fine turned into unpayable debt

I recently recieved 2 fines which were totally my own fault. One for not wearing a seatbelt and the other for speeding. The fines have been merged by Nottingham court and now stand at Ј410. The speeding fine makes up Ј320 of this and I have also been given 4 points on license.
Before the fine was issued I was asked to fill in a means form which would help decide the amount and time to repay. This I did.

I agreed over the phone and gave my debt card details.

Some months ago I secured a payment order to the tune of Ј3000. At the time I was in County court, unbeknown to me the debtor was in Crown Court and subsequently is detained at Her Majesties pleasure for 5 years!

I had given up on the prospect of enforcement but it has come to my knowledge that the JD has a bank account with a balance of about Ј1000 making the prospect of a third party debt order worthy of consideration.

I hace recently had a few mortgage applications declined and I have since found out they were declined due to an address I was linked to.

My problem is that I was linked to this address through my ex-partner who moved to this address when we sepperated and changed her postal address on our joint account. The Halifax informed me that there was some bad debt linked to this address before my ex-partner moved there.

A question about : Iqor called over 14 times in 1 week for non-existant debt

I am being hounded by a company called Iqor over a supposed debt to eBay. I have checked with eBay and I owe them nothing.

My question, is it legal for them to be hounding me like this?

a) How can I stop them?

b) What can I do if they keep calling me?
