A question about : Remove Default from Mobile Phone Company

I was reading that it's virtually impossible to remove a default from a mobile phone company.

I got a default from O2 without knowing about it in 2011. During the time of switching mobile phone companies I had moved flats and hence didn't get my final bill of Ј6.35. I believed I had cleared it. I payed the outstanding balance hoping it would clear the default.

A question about : Rent Applications

Morning,

I'm looking to rent for the first time with my partner. I checked my Experian Credit Report and I've now addressed all the debts that are still on there ) approx 9 totalling Ј10k) by implementing repayment plans.

I'm curious to wonder to what extent your credit file gets checked when your looking to rent from a landlord.

Do they do a full credit score check?.... or do they just check for CCJ's and Bankruptcy?

So I took out car finance in 2012 and I've never missed a payment. I pay a silly amount of Ј191 for a vauxhall astra 58 model. I end up paying way over the odds which I knew when taking it out so it's my own fault. I was just wondering if there's any way in which you can end the agreement early or hand the car back? I had a bad year in 2012 and didn't care too much as I was diagnosed with MS and went a little silly. Any advice appreciated.

A question about : not declared default excuse

I applied for a job. I declared my satisfied default in the interview.

But I didn't on my application form.

They've asked my why I didn't declare it on the application forms.Tbh I rushed the application form so I missed it.

What excuse can I give? Without looking incompetent?

A question about : Expat returning to UK after 6 years

Hi, first post - be gentle.

I'm an Expat about to move back to the UK. I have not had a UK address for 6 years and the only credit I have had in the UK has been a credit card with my UK bank account (although registered to my foreign address). Used the card a few times a month and always paid up.

Does anyone know if that card will go towards my credit file even though it was a foreign address?

I presume I'll have no chance of getting a mobile phone contract.

Any advice appreciated.
