A question about : WARNING on CreditExpert charging

I didn't realise I'd done a free trial with them years ago.

I signed up, and they immediately debitted my account with Ј14.99. As soon as I saw this, I cancelled and asked for a full refund.

I hadn't been able to access my file at this point, as they send you a pin number by post to get back in.

I have only received a refund of Ј8.68 which has been pro rata'd. BUT I have not been able to get anything from my file.

So I've been charged for nothing.

Am still chasing them, but be warned...

A question about : T-Mobile Default Payment

Help needed!

I took a T-Mobile Contract out via Carphone Warehouse in May 2013. I returned the phone within cooling off period (never even opened box) and expected Carphone Warehouse to cancel contract. They failed to cancel contract and notify T-Mobile of this.

To cut long story short, T-Mobile have now placed Default Payment on my Credit Rating. I only found this out recently as I was refused loan recently.

A question about : Experian / Equifax

Hi,

I recently applied online for a loan, via Santander, as my Equifax Credit Score was pretty much maximum score (i.e. I am an EXCELLENT borrower) but, for whatever reason, I was refused the loan. Personally, I know I am in great shape financially, I have a well paid job, I am a home owner, no CCJ's, etc... so a little confused.

A question about : Credit Compass

Just a word of warning.....
I did a free trial with Credit Compass and when I didn't cancel within the free trial and was charged. I was waiting for something on my file to be changed so I didn't cancel before that happened.

So it wasn't a problem as such and when it appeared on my bank statement, I was prompted to ring and cancel so I don't get charged for another month.

A question about : cheapest credit report??

In the past I've used my free trial version of experian and equifax.

So what's the cheapest product I can get to see online straight away my record?

I've tried noddle but it lacks the info I need.' public utility accounts!'

A question about : Noddle Nightmare

Anyone else find it frustrating to deal with Noddle over a discrepancy on your report???

You send an email to disputes, get a response in 2-3 days which doesnt really answer your query, then you reply to await another 2-3 days and so on.......

A question about : Credit file query relating to payday / short term loans

Ok new to this forum so be gentle.

I’ve taken out at least 10 pay day loans in the last 12 months, all have since been paid off, however I had a few rejected and then got a lot of spam texts / phone calls saying they’ve rec’d my loan request and I need to call to discuss, text to opt out – I never did call nor text to opt out as i’ve heard they can then inundate with charges.

My question is how long will these pay day loans last on my credit file and what affect do they have on them ?

A question about : Too many credit cards negative effect??

Hi was hoping someone could tell me if having a few credit cards that have no balance effects your credit rating? Is it best to close them or can I just leave them sitting empty?
