A question about : Noddle

I joined Noddle a few months ago now so I could have an idea of what my report looked like as I built up some credit history.

I have just signed in now out of curiosity to see what's what, like whether my mobile phone contract has appeared, and found that it hasn't updated at all since the 29th February! That's a bit more than the month specified (several times) in their FAQ.

Has anyone else experienced this, or should I dig deeper.

A question about : F&F Showing 6 years from settlement date?!

Long time lurker here...

My OH was talking to a DCA last night and was in the process of agreeing a full and final figure to pay the balance off. The chap on the phone agreed the figure but with a condition I've not heard of before, the partially satisfied mark will stay on her credit file for 6 years from the settlement date (this account defaulted 4 years ago!) Is this correct, I assumed this was just a blatant lie by the DCA to extract the full balance so has something changed?

A question about : Noddle sign-up fraud alert

Following a link from here I signed up to Noddles free credit report service with no problems however I then sent the link to my brother and told him to do it and when he tried to submit his card details for the proof of ID section an error came up on the screen saying an error had occurred and within minutes the HSBC were on the phone to him explaining that they have just deactivated his card due to a suspicious attempted transaction to his account by this company, obviously now I'm concerned too.

A question about : Orange billing mistake has affected my credit rating

Hi there,

I took out a contract Orange a few years ago. Towards the end of that contract I upgraded to EE.

12/11/2014 - Received a letter claiming I owed a termination fee, despite the fact I had upgraded. I called and the billing team confirmed this was a mistake and nothing was owed. I thought the matter was closed.

A question about : Credit rating sites

I was watching Martin this evening advising on how to check your credit rating. He suggested noddle for reiewing the callcredit credit rating free. I went to the site, but as part of the registration you have to provide details of a credit card including the number expiry code AND the security code. It did not even look as if it was a secure site. Whilst they said no money would be debited from the card I was not happy about providing that level of information. Has anyone else any experience of this site?

A few queries regarding Credit Reports if anyone could answer?

Firstly, I had in the past been paying for Credit Expert and receiving a score of 999 most of the time and if not, always in the 900's.
Despite this fact; I always had trouble getting credit, even after waiting 6 months between applications and managing my finances, not missing any payments.. It always made me wonder about the accuracy.

A question about : Usefulness of noddle

I signed up to noddle last year and been checking it every so often, but they are always 2 months behind on reporting stuff..

If I ordered a statutory report from the other 2 how up to date will they be? e.g. I opened a flexaccount with nationwide to get the new ISA, but it isn't showing on noddle yet.

hsbc seems to report at the end of the month, santander reports in the middle - is this the same for all 3 agencies?

Also what extra information would experian/equifax have that is not reported to noddle?

A question about : Incorrect data on Noddle credit file

Hi all

Hope you can help.

Last last night I joined up with Noddle to get a copy of my credit file and I was gobsmacked when i went on it showed a whole lot of incorrect data.

It said i was also my sister, and was financially linked to my brother in law and linked me to addresses i have no link to (have never lived there or have any financial links with anyone who lives there!!!).
