A question about : Want to start fresh (up and go)

Hi all.

I'm sick of so called friends in my life, I have no job after 2 years of trying.

I hate the area I live in. I have good and bad memories but I want to start fresh I want to up and go.

I want to go to London more opportunities.

No commitments im under 30 and just looking for adventure.

I want to start from scratch if that means being in homeless hostels to build up I will. (Im looking for a challenge)

Any hostels in London?

I stumbled on this charity rescueglobal.org whilst looking for a Search and Rescue charity to donate to.

There is some information on the website and a video (about us- media library) which has Bear Grylls in it, and shows the Search and Rescue team parachuting and that they own a plane. I am not sure about the necessity for this and wondered if I gave them a donation were it would be spent as there is no info on this on there site.

A question about : Icelandic charity asking for votes to win funding

This looks really cool. This Icelandic charity is asking people to vote for them in a public contest to win some funding for the work they do tree planting and for saving seabirds. If you do they are choosing two winners to go on a long distance hiking trail which looks amazing. You get to the voting site by searching on google for: 'Wildfjords Restoration - vote for us'

And this is what is being offered to two people, search on google: 'wildfjords spring trail'

A question about : Charity gazeebo help

Hi everyone I wondered if anyone can help.

I am looking to buy a decent gazebo for our charity has anyone had any good experiences(price & quality) with any companies. There is so many companies I don't know where to start.

A question about : Charities that might want home-cooked / baked food?

Evening

A friend of mine loves baking and has some spare time on her hands so would love to put her skills to use for charity. She was thinking maybe a womens' refuge or a homeless shelter? Does anyone know anywhere around the chipping norton kind of area that might be interested, or of any national charities that have local branches? (She would prefer to bake at home and then donate the food rather than actually volunteer as a helper.)

A question about : Major UK Charity using Withheld/Unknown Telephone Numbers

Earlier this week, I booked online a collection of unwanted goods by a major UK charity. Today, their local shop called me back using an Unknown number which my phone automatically diverted to an answerphone that I check about once a week. I just wonder why major charities need to use Unknown telephone numbers when the use of such tactics is favoured by telemarketers, scammers etc? The irony is that the message left asked me to call them back to confirm the collection date and they left me the number.
