A question about : Does anyone have any more information on this charity

I stumbled on this charity rescueglobal.org whilst looking for a Search and Rescue charity to donate to.

There is some information on the website and a video (about us- media library) which has Bear Grylls in it, and shows the Search and Rescue team parachuting and that they own a plane. I am not sure about the necessity for this and wondered if I gave them a donation were it would be spent as there is no info on this on there site.

I know most of these sort of charities are run on a tight budget and so just wondered if anyone had worked with them/know of there work and reputation. They are a UK charity and US 501c but would like a recommendation before donating.

• I would not call it a scam, just a recently-registered charity that has not really got going with fundraising yet.
• Look a little deeper then.
• It's unlikely to be a scam. The commanding officer is well connected. Bear Grylls has a section on his website about it https://www.beargrylls.com/rescue-global/
  It is, however, a relatively new charity.
  From their website, it looks like donations could be spent anywhere in the world, the point is more what they are spent on (stuff to rescue people). The website includes examples of activities they have done in the past.
