my iPad mini retina fell out of my bag and the screen has shattered like a spiders web. It needs replacing

I've done a bit of Googling and while I can't pin down an exact price it looks like it will be somewhere in the region of Ј200 leaving it to Apple. Am I right in this assumption.

There appears to be two solutions: let Apple do the job.
Go to a local repair shop and have it fixed for less than half the price.

A question about : How to disconnect my Facebook links to other websites

This morning I logged on to my tripadvisor account to see they have linked my facebook account to tripadvisor.

I have gone on to the help menu and attempted to disconnect it but I can still see my facebook picture on my account and it still seems linked, but can't see how to get any further 'help'

I am new to Facebook but not that new a few months, and never seen this link up before. I am rather frustrated that a liberty has been taken without my agreement.

A question about : microsoft updates

Everytime i went to the update website, and installed the updates, restarted, my comp would crash. I had to reinstall XP Pro. It happened on my laptop aswell.

Can anybody advise me on this?

A question about : Viber question

Viber question please
My son-in-law has put viber on his Samsung galaxy to enable video/calls/messages whit his wife on detachment. Ideally he wants it on his iPhone should his wife call him when he is out.

We feel there could bel a conflict between his devices, as earlier he tried to install it on the phone, and it removed itself from tablet.

It has now been taken off the phone and reinstalled on tablet.

So, has anyone experience using viber please.

A question about : Adaware Found Alexa and DOS Exploit

Just got a new PC, downloaded some anti vius, adaware, spybot etc and when I run adaware and spybot they find "Alexa Related" - something to do with "What's this Link?" in microsoft IE. The second thing is "DOS Exploit" which seems to have made 5 registry entries.

I'm not very technical on this stuff and just wondered if I should just go ahead a delete it or not? :-/

Any help would be appreciated.

A question about : Sky not working

Hi all
all I seem to be doing is turning sky off at mains to get it working again. After 2/3 days my sky stops working as in you can still watch the channel your on but you cant change channel. nor will anything else work even thing you try and record comes up failed. any help on this please as driving me mad thanks

we have bt fiber inter net and router is in the front room,my pc is in the office,and is connected via tp link ,
streaming from pc to tv ,tablet ect works,
in the bed room i have 20 modern but not smart tv and a tv-onics box,,
is it possible to connect this to wifi and and stream pc to the bedroom tv
?

A question about : Mobile Contract help

Need a little advice please if possible, I am a very small business who signed a contract for business mobiles with a new company, I cancelled it two days later as I sent proof of address with 4 utility bills, they then requested a bank statement which I wasnt wiling to send. I have received an Invoice for them for 1.3k, they havent provided anything, no handsets pac codes etc, I know from this site that consumers have 14 days cooling off period to cancel, does this apply also to small businesses. I am not paying this invoice.
