Best answers:
- I use a Chromecast on my (non-smart) living room TV. With Plex media server on my PC, and the Plex app on my phone, I can stream media (movies, photos, music) from my PC to my TV over wifi).
(It also means I can stream Netflix, BT Sports, etc. to my TV using my phone). - any way of doing it for free,,i use plex media,
- read that wrong,so plex on to the moble ,but how do i get wifi to tv...
- You'd need to pay to buy something that enables wifi on the TV. A Chromecast is under Ј30 and will certainly work. You could look at a Roku as an alternative.
Basically - you need a wifi device connected to the TV. - Am I correct in saying that a Chomecast only sends certain media to your TV? e.g. netflix, youtube etc. or is it possible to actually display your PC desktop and basically use another TV as a wireless monitor? (if you have a long enough keyboard cable )
- which will require a usb connection,,
i wonder if sky receiver will work ? as wi fi connector? - looking for something free as going into hospital, wednesday,,,
