Adaware Found Alexa and DOS Exploit

A question about : Adaware Found Alexa and DOS Exploit

Just got a new PC, downloaded some anti vius, adaware, spybot etc and when I run adaware and spybot they find "Alexa Related" - something to do with "What's this Link?" in microsoft IE. The second thing is "DOS Exploit" which seems to have made 5 registry entries.

I'm not very technical on this stuff and just wondered if I should just go ahead a delete it or not? :-/

Any help would be appreciated.

• Go ahead and delete with the assistance of Adaware.
  You could choose to quarantine rather than delete if you want.
  You had better patch/update your system via internet explorer as soon as possible.

• Ad-aware hates Alexa for some reason. Milly's page gives you the info you need to decide whether you want to get rid of it or not. Fortunately, whatever you decide, it is a pretty mild form of spyware compared to some around.

  After checking out the above link - I think spybot's last update didn't deal with it right and it should fix it in the next update, whenever that might be. !As long as all the Windows updates/patches are up todate then there hopefully shouldn't be a problem
