A question about : Can't Seem To Connect To The Hut Via Their Phone Number?

(I'm not sure if this is the right Forum section, so feel free to move, if not title=Embarrassment).

I ordered two things from TheHut.com on 20th March for an upcoming birthday. All was well (I got a confirmation email suggesting that the items may come separately at no extra charge) and one item turned up last week. Odd thing was, there was no invoice.

Has anyone else had issues getting them to take back broken blinds? I'm not sure what to do next I just keep getting emails from them saying they are not broken, but I can see them and they are broken!

Just a vent really and after some info.

Recently booked a van through europcar to take some gear to france. Nowhere during the booking process does it mention an excess to take vehicle abroad. I then needed to change the booking so rang up their customer services. To change involved cancelling the booking and rebooking. I explained i needed to add a days hire in order to boost the mileaGe allowance allowed as i was taking the van on a long trip to france. Again, the standard payment was taken and no mention of any extras.

All Boxed Up (No response and no delivery)

A question about : All Boxed Up (No response and no delivery)

Following a recommendation by MoneysavingExpert website about the above company I thought that I would order a Valentine's box for my wife.
Well, 4 emails later and despite contact with MoneysavingExpert staff (who have a contact working at the company) still no delivery and still no response to when the parcel will be delivered.
I find it strange that MoneySavingExpert advertise this company and have contact with them (and know they have had issues with delivery before) that they can 'recommend' them.

'Free Time' took money from my credit card

A question about : 'Free Time' took money from my credit card

I've just received a letter from a company called 'Free Time' - based in Spain although the postmark is Greenford in UK - congratulating me on a year's membership and advising they're about to charge my credit card Ј99.99 for a second year's 'membership'.
I checked my statements from last year and find - to my surprise and dismay - that they charged the same amount last year - don't know how I missed it, but...

Bought from an online retailer purely because they do next day delivery and the next day is the only time someone will be available for delivery.

Call the retailer to place the order because I know delivery is difficult at my address due to security gates and a complex buzzer system. Retailer speaks to Yodel (ex-DHL part) for the order and instruct them to call me to gain access to the property.

Harveys furniture delivery delays.

A question about : Harveys furniture delivery delays.

Ordered a sofa on the 18 Jan, on the Harveys website it stated 14 day delivery. Asked in store about 14 day delivery yes no problem could even be sooner, asked several times about the delivery was assured it would be no problem, 14 days or even less. 19th Jan the phone call, no can do 2 weeks but we can do 11 Feb way beyond the so called 2 week delivery target.
