A question about : Barclaycard World MasterCard (Ex Egg Money) Being Replaced with Amex + Visa Combo

I've had a letter this morning from Barclaycard to say that from May 2014 they intend to replace my Barclaycard World MasterCard that earns 1% cashback with an Amex and Visa combination.

Basically the Amex will earn 1% cashback and the Visa will earn 0.5% cashback - useless for me because I only use it in places that don't accept Amex!

They are also withdrawing the various insurance policies that came with the card (missed event cover, purchase cover etc.)

Edit 4/4/2013: The card is no longer available to new customers.

Edit 14/10/2013: Aqua are sending out letters to some or probably all existing customers withdrawing the card in January.

A question about : Sutton's default removal letters

Hello everyone!

I am starting this thread to help Sutton to get defaults removed from his credit files. So I appreciate if anyone can input some suggestions to give Sutton his best chance of removing those dreaded defaults. I would ALSO encourage anyone reading this to start their own process if they have tried and failed to remove default(s) from their credit files.

NID very kindly gave me the letters to start off the process.
