A question about : Halifax decreased my clarity credit limit

Found out in my monthly statement that Halifax decided to decrease my limit by two thirds (Ј3000), leaving just Ј47 above my current balance. Meaning I can't really use it until after I clear the balance, which I always do just before the date required.

Just so annoying to reduce it by so much when my circumstances haven't changed, and I always manage my finances well.

A question about : credit card balance transfers

Hey guys
I have a Barclaycard. I'm currently paying 100Ј per monthbut 50Ј is just on iinterest. I was wondering if someone can explain to me about balance transfares. If I get a new credit card can I still pay off 100Ј per month. Also will i have to pay off my old card interest from my balance.

What's this about?

To get credit, be it a loan, mortgage, credit card or even mobile phone contract, it's essential to be registered on the electoral roll before applying. Many people assume they're automatically registered, or don't bother doing it. Yet not being on the roll will have massive implications on your credit worthiness.

wondering if anyone knew how easy it is to get an account with a catalogue company? are they as strict as credit card lenders?

Hi..quick question
The Amex Blue and Circle One rebate cards (I have both) still being widely plugged as the cashback cards to have.
However on reading the T&C's for the Platinum CC is seems to me, that as long as you spend in excess of Ј6K a year, the platinum CC is now the one to have. T&C's state;
up to Ј2K earns 0.5%
Ј2K - Ј5K earns 1%
Ј5K+ earns 2%
I'm the first to admit, this kind of thing isn't my strong point...so can someone tell me if I'm missing something?

Amex seem to have brought out more deals for cardholders checking into stores with foursquare. Currently on are:

Ј10 off a Ј10 spend in GAP

Ј25 off a Ј25 spend in Harvey Nics

Ј5 off a Ј20 spend in Argos.
