A question about : Section 75 claims

My Son bought a car in September last year. Within 5 days we were aware of a problem with the car. The garage have been awful.
We paid Ј500 deposit on a Tesco Visa Card & the balance in cash. We put in a chargeback claim for the deposit & a claim under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 as advised to do so. Our claim has been turned down as I can't find a connection between the Debtor & Creditor. ie the name on the deposit receipt & the garage.
Any advice would be appreciated.

A question about : Credit cards perks

Anyone know any cards with good perks around atm?

I have a barclaycard (which I've had for years) but I get a bit fed up of not getting any perks with it (no cashback, points, money off etc) and wonder if I'm missing out

It's usually cleared in full each month but can have the odd month of having a balance - and the interest is huge when this happens, something else I'd like to address if poss!

Limit is quite large (increasing to Ј7.5k in March) and I'd like to keep it at a decent level

A question about : santader 123 cashback- what is considered "transport"

hi looking to get santander 123 credit card. what is classed a transport i presume that london underground oyster travel is considered but would appreciate if someone can confirm.

A question about : applied for transfer of Vanquis card 39% APR to santander, 0% for 15 months..

my payments are not making much hit, with the interest that's building up.. hope to get 0% offer to get that balance down!

saw MSE deals, Santander seemed best (as I am with them, that should give me some extra brownie points, right?).t

My only concern is I only have JSA coming in at present, so below their income threshold? They haven't said no, yet..

Overall will improve my finances, as can clear off card quicker, and put spare money to other bills.

A question about : 35 months 0% vs 18 mths...

On here there are 35 mth 0% deals for money transfers
yet only 18 mnth for straight forward 0% deals...

Does this mean you can't get a 35 month @ 0% deal credit card unless you are transferring funds from another card?

Hello all...!

Just a quick message to say look out for the new Capital One Platinum Mastercard offers out there.

In the Mail newspaper today, the weekend magazine contained oddly 2 very similar looking mainly white coloured leaflets with the word Value and Added splashed in the middle and lower portion of it along with an image of a typical capital one card in the top right corner.

One was for 15 months with 0% on balance transfers,...and the other for 18 months 0%.

A question about : MSE deal was for Ј30 not Ј5!

About 3 weeks ago MSE had a link to apply for an M&S credit card, and you had to spend any amount on it within the first 3 months, to qualify for Ј30 in points. Having received the card there is no sign of the Ј30 bonus, just Ј5 in the form of 500 points. I cannot find the page on MSE, I'm guessing it's changed (but are the old pages cached anywhere)? Do I remember this deal correctly, or am I not receiving the correct deal? Thanks to anyone who can help.
