A question about : Cross stitch cushion kit

I've been thinking about trying a cross stitch cushion kit. I noticed that you can buy a backing and was wondering how you attach it? I was thinking about something like this, I've done cross stitch before but I've never tried a cushion. Thanks

A question about : Bulk buying/ wholesale particularly buttons and small beads

Hi all I recently started making items from buttons and these have be come popular with friends and family , it is starting to turn into a sideline and I would like to buy the buttons and beads wholesale if possible as they are working out quite expensive from the local hobby store, can anyone recommend or point me in the right direction, thanks

A question about : Bulk buying/collecting embroidery hoops?

Can anyone advise where I can buy embroidery hoops? I'm after about 12 in a variety of sizes, as cheap as possible.
I plan to have different fabric in them and hang them on the wall to cover some imperfections in our new house.
Obviously with moving money is very tight!

I've tried gumtree, freecycle etc and rang quite a few charity shops near to me (one shop had one in for Ј3.20, which I thought was expensive?!) and I don't use ebay. Anymore ideas?

A question about : Recommendation for rotary cutter

Hi all

Saw a rotary cutter being used last week, and would like to purchase one later this year. It's something I know nothing about and wonder if anyone has a recommendation? The lady who used it told me there are different shape handles, and that's the limit of my knowledge! I plan to use it to cut my patchwork shapes and strips, and also for general fabric cutting.

A question about : Taking in a dress

I bought a maxi dress from Ebay and it has just arrived. It's a size 18 and I usually take an 18 or 20. Anyway the dress is too big. If it was just a bit too big I would probably still wear it but it is very big and the armholes are really gappy (it's sleeveless).
