Last week I attened an interview and have been offered the job (subject to checks - which should be fine, just procedure)

Speaking to my new boss, March the 2nd would be the earliest I would be able to start.

Do I have to make the Jobcentre aware I have been offered the job at this stage or do I say nothig and continue to claim till the day I start?

If I mention anything, will they stop my JSA.

Would someone that has been claiming carers allowance and working part time with a small earning exception certificate for the past 4 years be entitled to contributions based ESA based on the class 1 national insurance credits, if they had stopped claiming carers allowance and working due to ill health?

Hi All. My daughter is on the highest rate living for PIP and has this week been placed in the Support Group for ESA, she has no other income or savings.
She lives with 3 others who are all students and the exemptions forms were sent to the Council in December.

A question about : Declaring an inheritance while on benefits

Earlier this year my younger sister and boyfriend coerced my mentally ill and dying of cancer mother to write her will and they were oddly named as two of the beneficiaries and they would be receiving half of my mother's estate. Sounds a bit like sour grapes on my part but going into details here would take up far too much space and distract from my main points.
Suffice to say these two are not exactly favored by me.

A question about : Clarification of Universal Credit & ESA

I am in an area where UC has just started & I am matching the criteria for it. There is a chance I may have to claim UC for sickness, but know that under the old system I would have only got contribution based ESA. However, I have read that contr based ESA is not included in UC.

Therefore, would I have to claim ESA or UC or both or, is my claim switched over after the WCA?
Just would like some clarification please.

A question about : Legal School Leaving Age for CSA payments

Please can someone clarify details of the new legal school leaving ages?

I've looked online but I think it has just confused me even more!!!

My partner had a child with his ex and the child was born in June 1998.
Please can someone tell me to what age does my partner need to pay CSA until? I believe, although I can't confirm, the child is allegedly at a college 3 days per week (I believe this classes at full-time education)
